Instructional Principles
The online format has been selected in order to optimize the degree of
flexibility in use and the sustainability and availability of the modules
nationally.
The Online Academy modules provide learners with self-contained modules--that is,
modules that do not require the learner to independently locate materials or
information that is not provided online.
Each module consists of 2-4 lessons, affording both instructor and learner
considerable degrees of flexibility when integrating these online materials into
existing courses. Every module contains sufficient information allowing it to
stand alone as a unit of instruction.
