The Online Academy is working with the Alabama Department of Education on a pre-service project for all institutions of higher education (IHEs) in the state. The Academy is providing training and technical assistance to the department and IHEs on the use of e-learning modules in the areas of Reading, Positive Behavioral Support (PBS), and Technology in Education. They have met with and made formal presentations to IHE representatives (see PowerPoint presentations), and are working with the department to establish four IHE regional centers for direct assistance to local classroom teachers. Below is a listing of IHEs that have attended workshops, with one-click e-mail addresses to aid communications among those in the state who are using the Academy modules. Also listed below is a list of IHEs that have completed formal user agreements with the Academy, and those that have already downloaded the e-learning modules to local IHE servers.
