"As an instructor creating an online class using Academy
modules you may find yourself (or a tech support person
working for you) needing to create web pages to organize
your class and to provide your students access to othe
r
online materials in addition to the Academy modules.
There are many web editors available to day. Three
products that I can recommend to help you create your
pages are, Netscape Communicator, Microsoft FrontPage 98,
and Macr
omedia Dreamweaver. Each has its merit.
The Netscape product is free, works well with tables, but
is not as powerful as some other products. FrontPage
integrates exceptionally well if you use Microsoft NT as
your server platfor
m as it makes it so you never have to
worry about the process of moving files from your desktop
machine to the server. Dreamweaver's main strong point is
the clean html code that it creates. This is an editor
for those who also like
to work directly with the html
code"
